We really wanted to go to Chiapas. We planned it, but when we found out that we couldn't get a return bus ticket that took less than 18 hours travel time, we went off the idea. Plus we were both sick. I hope we get a chance to go there soon. But I just LOVE the zapatista dolls, so I had to post this picture. I bought several of them. Another lesson here, I saw Chiapan indians selling wool animals in several places and kept saying, "I'll wait and get some in Chiapas where they will surely be cheaper." So I never saw any more to buy and I didn't get to buy any. I was heartbroken. Crestfallen. Deflated. I still covet those animals. I must return and purchase some. I don't even have a picture of one.
