Well, we aren't fighting off villains, but these are ok action pictures. Maybe. Ginger is holding up the mirador, I'm admiring the stela, Ginger is keeping the jungle at bay, and Ginger is posing with Yum Keep who is apparently a fertility deity. Yum Keep stymies my usual bubbly prose. In some ways the ancient Maya remind me of current US society. Stratified, with the super-rich doing whatever-the-hell they want, with everybody else pretending to be puritans. I'll probably expand on this thought later.
