walking around Valladolid

This guy can cure ANYTHING! We had to get a picture. Ginger bought this purse that matched her hair. I like this picture a lot because everything matches: the purse, G's hair, her shirt, and the building behind her. She bargained and haggled forever, but finally bought the purse. The people all over Yucatán seemed to be less willing to lower their prices much than anywhere else I've ever been in Mexico or Guatemala. I like the candy-stand picture. It's colorful and cool. We also went to the museum. It's kinda small but interesting. They have a lot of pieces from Ek Balam and also a lot of the history of Valladolid. Apparently Valladolid was where the first fighting in the Caste Wars started. The town was pure colonial and Indians couldn't be there. So when the Indians attacked, Valladolid was the first to be struck.
