Fuego had a big time this Christmas. He and Pierre ran loose on Deason Lane and played like the puppies they are. Fuego became obsessed with the cat, Sarah Palin. Here he is resting in the lamplight. It was such a perfect holiday-season-cheer photo in person, but the lighting is weird.

A Little Christmas Couch Po-Fuego
Fuego had a big time this Christmas. He and Pierre ran loose on Deason Lane and played like the puppies they are. Fuego became obsessed with the cat, Sarah Palin. Here he is resting in the lamplight. It was such a perfect holiday-season-cheer photo in person, but the lighting is weird.

Me and my cousins...
Sort of. My generation anyway, but David and John seem older than that. In any case, here am I along with the rest of my generation of the Deason family and their spouses: Ginger and Luis, John and Sandra, David and Shirley, Amanda, and me. We should have dressed as elves for Christmas. Maybe we can next year. Plus, Ginger and I were the only ones (except for Amanda) up for making a pyramid for the picture - everybody else lamed out. They have no sense of adventure or photo-aesthetics.
Sam at Christmas
Sam I Am is still a handsome doggie. I worry that he might not see another Solstice, but he's had an excellent run for his money this time around.

My Nephew Pierre Raul
OK, this might be the last picture of Pierre I post. For now. For right now. For the next few minutes, anyway.
Pierre checking out Sam
You could say this is a picture of me and Ginger by the tree at Christmas. Or, as I have done, you could elect to experience this as a picture of Pierre sniffing Sam's butt in greetings.
I love Pierre
I must love this little dog because I feel compelled to post about a god-zillion pictures of him. Not unlike many other people, when I first met him I didn't care too much for le petit Pierre. But he has a personality and a half. He is fearless and brave and so fucking CUTE!!! I don't know how he made such a tepid first impression on me. I still want another Rottweiler, but I think I'd like a Pierre to go with it.
Egg-Eye
The night shift at the verandah have been on an industrial go-slow for a while now. Egg production has ground almost to a halt, but here we are doing egg-eye with the proceeds of the previous night.
Daddy's 2008 Christmas Tree
This year Daddy said he didn't feel like cutting down a tree from our convenient Xmas Tree farm, so he bought one from display in the local Dollar General, complete with decorations. He just carried it out to the car as is and put it on the TV at home.
