After the first part of the ceremony we all went, along with Rodrigo's family, to a fast-food burrito place for a quick lunch before the second ceremony. I was only able to get one or two good pictures at the second ceremony. Luis' other brother Alfredo couldn't come, but he and his wife Lily sent a cake. The k9 boys couldn't keep their little eyes off of it.

Ginger with the Boys
Ginger with Buddy and Fuego. Daddy and I went up to Raleigh to deliver some wire fencing and pick up a desk. We had a good time and I got some fantastic pictures of my new nephew Fuego. Prepare for Irish Setter overload!

3 May 08 Luis's Party

These are from the party that Ginger and Luis had to celebrate his passing his dissertation defense. Like a demented elephant, I forgot my camera. Fortunately, the great Any and Rodrigo brought theirs and I stole these pictures from Any's picasa album. I love the last. If you look carefully, you'll see Luis's friend holding Buddy.

Surprising Luis and Kirsten AGAIN!
Luis stayed home
So I had to leave out a lot between these two pictures. There's a lapse of about 8 hours, during which time some undergraduate-type behaviour occurred. Some public urination, some vomit, and Ginger awoke with a strange mark on her hand that we attributed to an invitation to party with the band after the show (but I can't be sure about that, I just seem to remember it). It's not stigmata, in any case.
