Snow (or a southern facsimile thereof)

So this is what passes for snow around here. People actually went out and stocked up on canned goods and milk. Sorry about the shaky photography - the deck was a bit slippery. This happened on Wednesday, Jan 9, 2008.

Art-Fart pictures of my tree

Just because I finished my thesis doesn't mean I don't have time to take arty-farty pictures of my surroundings! Feast your eyes on these various shots of my Solstice tree.
All I have left to do to get my degree now is figure out how to get the page numbers in the right places and face my committee in my defense.
Now to decide what to do next...

Christmas Eve

These are from Christmas Eve. The first is Daddy giving treats to the donkeys. Next is me with my cousin Amanda. Then me with my cousin Meghan's latest offspring Satchel, and finally me with Daddy (I'm having to point to the camera so he'll look and smile).

La la la la la la la. I meant to put my tree up the day after Thanksgiving but only tonight had the time and energy to do it.

I did not teach my dog to beg like this. He got spoiled by his grandpapá. Now he begs from everybody except me. But I must say he is mighty cute.
